Beckton Riverside

Greengage project-managed the Environmental Impact Assessment a riverside mixed use redevelopment.

Key to the regeneration was the Development Masterplan incorporating the Riverside Park running the length of the site’s river frontage, the existing flood defence area, proposed wildlife areas, pedestrian and cycle routes, recreational space with views of the River, grassland and play areas, and a new pond that would form part of the surface water management strategy for the development.

A thorough understanding or the Socio-Economic impacts of the development was achieved through comprehensive assessment of the community, educational, healthcare and recreational/open space demands of the development’s population. Furthermore, a detailed Additionality Assessment in accordance with English Partnership Guidelines was undertaken to assess the economic and commercial impacts of the development.
